Randstad, the second-largest HR services and staffing company in the world, hopes to draw attention to the impending skills gap and encourage future students to consider careers in high demand fields by offering a 10K scholarship to the "Most Inspired Student in America."

College students and professionals interested in participating can create a short, two minute video detailing their passion about their current career path. Participants can then promote their own videos on Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets accumulating votes.

The winner of the contest will be based on the number of votes received on InspiringExperts.com. The contest will specifically focus on technology, engineering, accounting and finance, human resources, healthcare and life science industries.

The prize breakdown is as follows:

• $10,000 scholarship to top student winner, $2,000 to second and third place winners
• $5,000 cash and $5,000 donation to a charity of choice to the top professional winner (this includes professors in qualifying fields)
• $5,000 cash for the most creative video in any industry (university staff and administration included)
• All top winners in each category will receive an iPad
