Legge Named Associate Provost for Academic Planning at UGA
Effective Sept. 1 Jerome Legge will take over as the associate provost for academic planning at UGA. Prior to this appointment Legge served as the interim associate provost for the University. Legge has been affiliated with the University of Georgia since 1980.
Senior vice president for academic affairs and provost Jere Morehead made the announcement and stated the following in a press release, "Dr. Legge has done an outstanding job in leading the Office of Academic Planning for the past eight months, and I am pleased he will continue in this important institutional role."
The Office of Academic Planning coordinates the university's accreditation process and implements its strategic plan. The office handles program review and assessment at the institutional level as well.
