UGA Food Services Receives National Grand Prize
The National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) recently awarded UGA Food Services with the grand prize in the Loyal E. Horton Dining Award contest for the best residential dining concepts.
This award recognizes exemplary menus, presentations, special event planning and new dining concepts while also providing an avenue for sharing ideas and creative presentations in campus dining services.
UGA Food Services has now received the grand prize award in the residential dining concepts category six times including the past years of 1990, 1993, 1996, 2000 and 2005. Known as the largest college food service program in the Southeast, UGA Food Services has the distinction of winning 77 national food service awards throughout the years.
