It's no secret Caterpillar is building a $200 million manufacturing plant in greater Athensland. With the plant will come about 800 jobs, and that number is expected to grow to 1,400 positions by 2020, according to previous reports.
Caterpillar is now accepting applications for the following positions that will be coming to the Athens area. To apply, visit http://www.caterpillar.com/careers/job-opportunities/job-search and enter the Job ID associated with the position that interests you. Then follow the instructions. The company's career website notes, "at this time you cannot search for positions in Athens, Ga other than by Job ID."
The following full-time jobs all require 4-year degrees and 1-10 years of experience. Follow the links to learn more about the positions.

Paul, offhand, I don't know, but I will be seeing some of the Caterpillar executives later today and I will ask. I would imagine some time next year, because the plant isn't even finished yet.

I have taken collision repair courses for automotive technology. I enjoyed welding in the courses and I would love to make a career out of it. Is their a direction you can point me in regarding filling out an application for this?
