Β

Before 10am on Friday, a seven-year-old boy was taking his mother's rent money to the leasing office of their apartment complex on Seagraves Drive. He was carrying $310 in a clear plastic bag.

A tall, thin black man who was playing basketball called out to him and approached the little boy as he passed the court, said the report. The man pushed the child to the ground and took the money, then fled on foot toward Woody Lane.
