The hits just keep coming.

Jeffrey Scott Crawford, 28, of Naomi Drive in Stockbridge, and Robert Gregory Fletcher, 24, of Cedar Avenue in Atlanta, were arrested around 2:40 p.m. on May 31 after they attempted to cash stolen checks at First American Bank, 2301 College Station Road. Both were charged with first degree forgery. The checks had been reported stolen on May 28 from Trim-Co Exteriors in Barrow County.

 The office of Williams and Guines, CPA, 375 Gaines School Road, was burglarized sometime over the weekend. Nothing is known to be missing. Officers responded to an alarm around 12:50 a.m. on May 30 but the building was secure at that time.

 Between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on May 30, the Sussex Drive residence of Orlando Millan Drinkard and Breon Thomas was burglarized. Video game systems and cash were stolen. The total value was $2,249. Ariana Skinner reported that a laptop, games, and DVDs valued at $1,510 were stolen.

 The Burkland Lane residence of Carissa Faye King and Tommie George Butts was burglarized between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on May 31. A TV, cash, and camcorder were stolen. The total value was $1,400.  

 Between 9 a.m. on May 28 and 10:25 p.m. on May 31, the East Campus Road residence of Timothy Holm Ward, Jr., and Michael Johnson was burglarized. TVs, an X-Box, games, movies, and a computer were stolen. The total value was $2,450.
