The following information was supplied by the Athens-Clarke police department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Around 8:15 on Thursday morning, Shannon Denise Gilham of Fox Hall Trail was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander, heading south on Hull Road in the left lane. Near the Lawton Lane intersection, her vehicle was struck from behind by a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Meagan Callaway of Hull. Callaway was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center. She was also cited for following too closely.

Around 2;20 a.m. on June 9, Jason William Caron of Sherwood Dr, driving a 2000 Land Rover Discovery, was east bound on Oconee Street.  Just east of the Foundry Street intersection, his vehicle struck the curb on the right side of the roadway and he lost control. The vehicle crossed the west bound lanes and struck a building head on. Caron was taken Athens Regional Medical Center.  No charges have been filed but the accident is under investigation.

A Willow Street storage building owned by the Athens Clarke County Government was burglarized between 3 p.m. on June 7 and 9 a.m. on June 8. Nothing is known to be missing.

Between 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. on June 6, a laptop, video game console, and video games were stolen from the S Lumpkin Street home. They were values at $1,400.

A washer and dryer valued at $300 were stolen from a vacant Springtree Road residence. The theft happened between 8 a.m. on June 5 and 6:30 p.m. on June 8.
