Man Charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Child

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation provided information to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department through Operation Guardian Innocence.
After a joint investigation of about three months, officils executed a search warrant at 202 Acadia Drive around 9:30am on April 10. Officers seized and analyzed computers, cell phones, and iPads.
As a result of this investigation, Micheal Timmons, 20, of 202 Acadia Drive, was arrested and charged with 18 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child. The investigation continues and additional charges are possible.
