Patch Poll: Dems say Convention Gave Obama a Bounce, GOP Less Likely to Think the Events Matter

Patch polled elected officials and activists in both parties to find out how they felt about their recent conventions. Both sides felt their own party got a boost, but Democrats expressed stronger feelings about the momentum they say Obama got.

Patch tapped our panels of influential Democrats and Republicans for twin polls, which were conducted this week.

The results are unscientific.

Democrats and Republicans were polled separately, with people from each party asked to focus on their own presidential candidate's performance and their own party's convention.

Patch received responses from 31 Democrats and 56 Republicans.
