Pottery, Pottery Everywhere

We visit several weekend pottery sales/exhibits in the area

Beginning with the Carter Gillies Pottery Studio open house and pottery sale on Saturday, we moved on to take in several related events in Oconee County. These included an exhibit and sale at Farmington Pottery, Wolf Creek Pottery Sale, JB (Jeff Bishoff) and Friends Pottery and Art Show and Sale, as well as the Chappelle Gallery Annual Mini Craft Fair. At Farmington Pottery we saw Geoff Pickett's pottery work and Lisa Pickett's handcrafted soaps and lotions. The Wolf Creek Pottery exhibit included items made by Lynne Burke, Isabell Daniel, Juana Gnecco, Jennifer Graff, Jorie Berman, Joe Singewald, and others. In addition to his own work, Jeff Bishoff's exhibit included pottery by Crisha Yantis, Keen Zero, and Craig Ellefson, as well as other works by other artists. The Chappelle Gallery Mini Craft Fair included pottery by Jerry and Kathy Chappelle, Barbara Bendzunas, Chuck Hanes, Holly, and others, along with glass, paintings, jewelery, and other art works by other artists.

All events will be open on Sunday, June 5, as well:
