As most every man, woman and child in the country knows by now, Super Bowl 2012 is Sunday, Feb. 5. The New York Giants and the New England Patriots will square off to see who takes home the title of Super Bowl XLVI champion.
Over the years, the Super Bowl has become a national sports extravaganza. USA Today reports spending on Super Bowl related activities is expected to top $11 billion this year. According to Fox News, more than 100 million people are expected to watch the game -- and perhaps even more importantly -- the commercials, which Forbes reports hit a record high cost this year of $3.5 million for a 30-second spot.
So, in short, whether you are a football fan or not, the game is a pretty big deal. If you don't like football, you can always enjoy the commercials.
So what do you think - who will win Super Bowl 2012? Tell us in the comments.

I'll confess.. as long as the snacks and company are good I don't have a stake in who wins or doesn't. Let's just hope Madonna puts on a half decent half time show!
