Who said this is a recession?

I haven't been able to blog recently, so I wanted to make sure I got my 2 cents in about this market. I've been so busy with buyers and sellers that I haven't had a whole lot of time for blogging.

Our editor, Mrs. McCarthy said "BLOG ABOUT IT" <-- So I will. :-)

For any of you out there that follow the national news and allow it to substitute for local news, it's time to stop. While real estate prices may be down, activity is not. All types of homes are selling, from foreclosures and short sales to even traditional "market sales" (as we call them in the biz).

As for the past 4 weeks, I've put 3 homes under contract, listed 3 new properties for sale, and I've been showing homes to buyers in between. If you need a real estate agent with a can-do attitude and a positive outlook on our economy, call me. I'm happy to help in any way I can.

Lots of people said it. Who in the hell are you talking to?

I gather from this short post that she has been talking to buyers and sellers of homes in the Athens area.

So is the Athens Patch going to turn into a self-promotion tool? Too bad.
