Lyndon House Arts Cent er will host the Studio Group Thursday\, December 6 through Saturday\, D ecember 8.\n \;\nNew to the group are Paul Bendzunas\, whose blown-g lass vases and plates have been familiar to Athens-area art collectors f or many years\; Barbara Odil\, who creates exotic figurative sculpture f rom natural materials ranging from roots and pods to bone\, feathers\, a nd shells\; and Sally Ross\, photographer\, whose travel images cover Sc otland\, Greece\, Italy\, China\, and the American West.\n \;\nOther members who have joined the Studio Group in the last two to three years include Elizabeth Barton\, art quilt maker\; Bonnie Montgomery\, weaver of rugs for the wall or floor\; Brent Swanson\, art furniture maker\; a nd Mary Porter\, whose paintings this year feature richly colored interi ors and night landscapes.  \;\n \;\nNow totaling thirteen member s\, the Studio Group also includes artists Margaret Agner\, silk painter \, Barbara Allen\, whose metal works include crocheted vessels\, Annette Hatton\, sterling silver jewelry\, Christie Moody\, fused-glass bowls a nd sculpture\, Jim Norton\, metal works and jewelry\, and Jim Talley\, t urned-wood vessels. Agner and Hatton are two of the founding members who started with the Studio Group in 1981.
