Avid Bookshop will host a spoken word event, Speaking Pages, on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Speaking Pages is a monthly gathering for writers and performers to read their works. The event is a showcase of Athenian talent in writing and performance. Although open to everyone, Speaking Pages is largely student oriented and is the realization of a current University of Georgia undergrad. Storytelling, prose, essays, poetry and spoken word performing is all welcomed.
If you would like to read or perform, please attend the event taking place once a month at AVID Bookshop located at 493 Prince Avenue.
