 eorgia\, working with the juvenile court and municipal court officers an
 d judges of Athens-Clarke County\, are&nbsp\;looking for volunteers to f
 acilitate an innovative\, new restorative justice community service prog
 ram&nbsp\;designed to re-connect youth and young adults with our communi
 ty while also teaching them valuable life skills and enabling them to gi
 ve back to their community.&nbsp\;\nVolunteer facilitators may choose to
  participate in one of two programs.\n\nThe&nbsp\;YOUthServe&nbsp\;progr
 am is for&nbsp\;middle and high school juvenile court offenders&nbsp\;an
 d consists of service projects on two Saturdays out of every month.&nbsp
 \; These projects will also be open to non-offenders as space permits.&n
 bsp\;The miminum expectation is that facilitators participate in at leas
 t one project a month and be at least 18 years old.&nbsp\;\nThe&nbsp\;YL
 P&nbsp\;program is for&nbsp\;17-23 year old municipal court offenders&nb
 sp\;and will consist of two weeknight classroom sessions a month and two
  Saturday service projects a month for four months. The minimum expectat
 ion is that facilitators are present at at least one weeknight session a
 nd one service project per month and be at least 22 years old.\n\n&nbsp\
 ;\n&nbsp\;Volunteer facilitators must be at least 18 years or older and 
 must submit to a background check (at your own cost).&nbsp\; Volunteers 
 must also participate in one of the training sessions. &nbsp\;Volunteers
  will be responsible for supervising\, supporting and encouraging youth 
 and young adults while they participate in community service work &nbsp\
 ;and should be willing and able to facilitate a discussion where the you
 th and young adults reflect on their work and the impact that it has.&nb
 sp\; All materials will be provided.
