Holiday Concert on Dec. 12 to Benefit Interfaith Hospitality Network
You can help people in need and enjoy some holiday music.
Soprano Callie Waller is an active member of the business and civic community in Athens. She's also the current president of the Interfaith Hospitality Network. On Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of Athens First United Methodist Church (AFUMC), she is giving a free concert, "I'll be home for Christmas." Pianist Greg Kirby will accompany her. Admission is free, but an offering will be collected for IHN, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide immediate shelter and support to homeless families with children.
