Athens job fair scheduled for this Thursday at The Classic Center

ATHENS, Ga. – Job seekers from all educational and professional backgrounds are invited to attend the Athens Job Fair and Career Expo this Thursday, April 24 at The Classic Center. This networking event is free for the public and will host a number of employers seeking part-time and full-time help.

The Athens Job Fair and Career Expo is hosted by the Athens Small Business Summit in partnership with the Georgia Department of Labor. This event promises valuable resources for both employers and job seekers. Prior to the day of the job fair, the DOL will offer free job fair readiness training and résumé critiques to any interested candidates. Professional dress is required and an interview space will be available on-site for employers to meet with their most qualified candidates.

Exhibitor tables are still available for any businesses looking to hire new candidates in the near future. Organizations currently registered to exhibit include Caterpillar, Lowe’s, BOS Staffing and the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government.
