ATHENS, Ga. – The Classic City Rollergirls will play their first double header on Saturday, May 31 at The Classic Center Arena in downtown Athens.
The team will take on Savannah’s Hostess City Hellions beginning at 6 p.m., followed by Atlanta’s Jukes of Hazzard at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $12 per bout, or $20 for both bouts. Visit ClassicCenter.com to buy tickets. A portion of the proceeds benefits The Tyanna Foundation’s BreastFest, an annual local fundraiser for breast cancer.
The Classic City Rollergirls kicked off their 2014 season in January with their annual Green and Black interleague bout at the new Classic Center Arena which now seats up to 2,000 attendees in a stadium atmosphere setting. The team moved its home games to The Classic Center Arena this year, which allows for larger capacity at bouts as well as downtown Athens convenience for attendees.
