Athens Farmers Market Welcomes My Market Club This Summer
My Market Club, a rewards program, encourages regular shopping at local farmers markets.

If you have yet to shop at the Athens Farmers Market, this is the year to start as it welcomes the My Market Club!
The Athens Farmers Market is the 8th farmers market in Georgia to welcome the My Market Club, a rewards program run in partnership with Georgia Organics and sponsored by Chipotle. It encourages folks to connect with their food by regularly shopping at their local farmers market.

The My Market Club will run at Athens Farmers Market June through September. Each month, the first 50 new shoppers to sign up will receive $5 to spend on delicious, local food at the market. It’s that simple!
The fun doesn’t stop there! Keep coming back and you’ll get more great rewards. On your third visit, you’ll be entered to win the grand prize: an epic Local Food Experience, including local food events, restaurant gift cards, Georgia Organics swag and more. Even better, you’ll be helping to support your local farmers that work so hard to bring you your food.

Already a veteran market shopper? You can join the fun too! If you bring a friend to the market who has never shopped at the market before, you can be entered to win great monthly prizes and the grand prize too. By helping spread the word about the Athens Farmers Market, you are helping to expand the market’s offerings and boost the local economy.
Just stop by the welcome tent on your first visit to the market and the My Market Club ambassador, Landon, will gladly welcome you and show you around!
And finally, new to the market this season is a partnership with the Athens Area Humane Society. Before you enter the market, please leave the furry members of your family with their volunteers, who will care for them, take them on walks, and make sure they are having as much fun as you are!

About the Athens Farmers Market
The Athens Farmers Market is a not-for-profit organization which held its first market in 2008 thanks to a community effort led by Craig Page of P.L.A.C.E. The purpose of the Athens Farmers Market is to bolster our local food businesses by providing a space for local farmers, food producers and artisans to sell their products to all Athenians, establishing a direct economic connection to consumers. The market envisions a community connected through food. The market is held Wednesdays from 4:00-7:00pm at City Hall and Saturdays from 8:00am-12:00pm at Bishop Park.
