Squeeze in some fun before the rain comes.

1. Get ready for a week of turbulent weather as a system of severe thunderstorms moves across Georgia.Β 

2. The is hosting Drawing from Nature today from 4pm-6pm. Participants will learn fun techniques of drawing plants, flowers and other natural objects. This program is sponsored in part by the Georgia Museum of Art and the Just My Imagination statewide outreach program. Children age 8 and older are welcome to attend.

3. The requests your input prior to finalizing the sewer pipeline upgrades scheduled for Barnett Shoals Rd. If you live in an area that may be affected by the upgrade, you are invited to attend a public meeting tonight from 6pm-8pm in Building A of on Lexington Rd.

4. The Athens Farm to School initiative oversees many programs within the that seek to improve student nutrition while supporting local farmers. As part of this program, the Ag Department is selling an assortment of vegetables, flowers and houseplants, all of which were grown by CCHS students. The Farm to School Facebook page has more information.

5. Athens-Clarke Greenways and Riverside Parks will host a this evening on the North Oconee Greenway from 8pm-10pm.
