Five things to think about on Thursday.

1. Athenians, enjoy the bluest sky ever! Looks like we have another beautiful day in store, with the high reaching 70 and no rain in sight. Seriously, could the sky be any bluer?

2. The hosts for first thru fourth graders, 4:30-5:30pm.

3. Adult movie star Ron Jeremy and Pastor Craig Gross will debate pornography’s role in society, posing the question of whether such films degrade or liberate women. The debate will take place at the Tate Student Center Grand Hall at 8pm.

4. EcoFocus and team up to present Fresh, an inspirational film about farmers and business people across the USA who are re-inventing our food system. Reception with beverages, appetizers and live music will begin at 6:30pm. Tickets are $8 for Botanical Garden members, $10 for non-members.  Children ages 10 and up are encouraged to attend.

5. Looking ahead to Friday night…the Athens Area Arts Council will present a runway show of “wearable art” at the . The evening kicks off with complimentary appetizers, signature cocktails and a cash bar at 7:30pm. At 9pm, will commence in the lobby. Admission is $10.
