Artist Chatham Murray is holding an open house at her house at 120 Barrow Street on Saturday, from 11am until dark. Her art work is small and personal, often depictions of fruits and vegetables so lovely you want to eat them. Don’t, just buy them and take them home.

Speaking of art, don’t forget Renewal, an art show and sale at the Seney-Stovall Chapel this Saturday (noon to five) and Sunday (one to four) afternoon. The art has been donated by 30 generous local artists, whose goal is to raise money for art in Athens elementary schools. There’s even an exhibt of elementary student art.
