Got a couple of hours to spare this evening? BikeAthens could use your help. From 6 to 8:30pm, they're repairing bikes in their Bike Recycling Program (BRP). They give the functioning bicycles to social service agencies, who give them to people who need a safe way to get to work.  for individuals in need of a safe ride to work and underserved by public transportation. Wednesdays, 6-8:30 p.m. (beginners), Mondays, 6-8:30 p.m. & Sundays, 2-4:30 p.m. Come to the Chase Street Warehouses and bring your abilities.

Tuesday offers another reason to visit the . It's the Sunflower Concert Series, and Grogus is playing, starting at 7pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for Friends of the Garden, and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Bring a picnic--or buy something from Dondero's--and relax on a blanket. Sounds great.

On Wednesday, you can hear a lecture by Toni Miles, director of the UGA Institute of Gerontology, entitled, "Obamacare After the Supreme Court Decision: What Now?" It's a brown bag in Room 481 of the Tate Student Center, from 12:20pm to 1:10pm. Be sure to bring potato chips.

To get the latest about the team and its prospects for the upcoming season, head to the on Friday morning for an 8 o'clock breakfast with Head Coach Mark Richt. The cost is $20 for non-students, and $10 for students. And then at 11:30, you can enjoy a lunch with Sheryl McGarity and Cindy Fox, the wives of AD Greg McGarity and basketball coach Mark Fox. The events are sponsored by the UGA Alumni Association. You can register online.
