And the craft shows just keep a-comin’. Get ready for Saturday’s “Rock Paper Scissors” Rummage and Craft Market, 2 to 6pm, followed by music at 7pm. Events unfold at 1377 Prince Avenue, two doors down from Normal Bar.

The Highballs will be rockin' at the this Sunday, playing hits from the 1980s, starting at 7:30pm. They will also collect toys for Toys for Tots. Bring a new, unwrapped toy and get $5 off your dinner at The Melting Point! Eat, drink, be merry and help the kids have a wonderful holiday. This is an all ages show.

There are 200 children in Athens Clarke County in foster homes. And there are 55 families who foster children. Why not make the Christmas season a little brighter for these children? Clarke County DFCS is collecting toys and gifts to distribute to these foster children. For more information, or to learn what kinds of gifts are needed, contact DFCS officials.

Want to practice before you take the stage at the Georgia Theatre? on Broad Street has Karaoke every Friday night, from 10pm until 1am. If you’re not in the tribe of the sleep deprived, you will enjoy this evening no end.

Your little ones (under 10 years old) might enjoy eating breakfast with the Jolly One this Saturday morning at . In two shifts, 9am to 9:45, or 10am to 10:45. The breakfast must be some sort of warm up to the cookie-a-go-go Santa experiences on Christmas Eve. To reserve your spot, call 706-613-3580.
