If you’ve always wanted to break into improv comedy, now’s your chance for honing your skills. Lisa Mende, aka Carol on Seinfield, will offer a 8-week-long workshop at . The first class is this , Saturday, January 14, from 2 to 4pm. The cost is $150. Second City, anyone?.

If serious drama is your thing, we can help you there as well. The Town and Gown Players are producing an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s “The Call of  Cthulhu.” Auditions are tonight at 6:30pm in Room 245 of Park Hall. You’ll be asked to read from the script. Piece of cake. The North Georgia Bluegrass Band is playing tonight 7pm at . Tickets are $5 for a chance to knock back a brew or two and hear some Americana music.
