5. A great part of summer in Athens are Concerts on the Lawn at Ashford Manor Bed and Breakfast in Watkinsville. Guests sit in the beautiful garden with their own picnic and choice beverage while listening to music and dancing until the sun goes down. The next concert will be on July featuring Sons of Sailors, a Jimmy Buffet cover band. If the Concert on the Lawn Facebook page reaches 2,000 fans by July 30, all fans will receive a discounted ticket to the Sept. 5 show featuring the Half Dozen Brass Band.
