The Mayor and Commission are holding their regular monthly work session today at 5:30pm at the Planning Offices on Dougherty Street. On the agenda are a review of the draft documents of the and Prince Avenue Corridor Studies; residential density in a portion of downtown; and HED.  

Attention, all you parents wanting something to do with your children if it's raining. On Wednesday afternoon, from 3:30 to 5:30pm, Pump It Up is offering a $6 jumping session. It's a great way to get the wiggles out without getting wet.

Want to get those flabby arms in shape but hate to lift weights? Dreaming of having those sculpted Michelle Obama arms by summer? Why not try rock climbing at , a cool indoor climbing facility on Barber Street. For a mere $32, you can take a beginner's class--and the fee includes the necessary equipment. There's also a Ladies Night and a Family Night. The website has all the details. 

If it's Tuesday, it must be Storytime at the . At 9:30 and 10;30am, the fabulous library staff will guide the receptive audience of toddlers, infants and caregivers through songs and stories. Be prepared to laugh, clap and sing.

The Diamond Dogs play Alcorn State today at 5:30pm at Foley Field. It's a fun thing to do on an almost-spring afternoon.
