Monday's 5 things.

1. You can register today for the Inaugural Earth Fare 5k, a race to benefit the The 1-mile Fun Run will take place on June 9, 2012 at 8am, followed by the 5k at 8:30am.

2. The Athens Clarke County Senior Center, now known as The Center for Active Living, provides learning opportunities to engage older adults (50+) by offering unique social, cultural, educational, and wellness-related classes and activities. Today, the Center offers aerobics and yoga classes. Click here to see the full calendar.

3. Wear your PJs and bring your pillow to , a program for children and their caregivers, tonight at 7pm at the . Also at the Library this evening, The Last Monday Book Club, which meets at 7pm (1 week early due to Memorial Day) for a discussion of "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins.

4. Drop off bikes or help repair used bikes on Monday and Wednesday nights at 6pm, at Bike Athens Bike Recycling Program in the . This volunteer-run program fixes up old bikes and distributes them to those in need. There is an especially high need for bikes that will accomodate men over 6' tall.

5. AthFest wristbands are on sale now at Athensmusic.net. The wristbands are $20 and allow unlimited access to , and during the festival. The proceeds from wristband sales go to programs, which work to keep music and the arts in Athens-Clarke County schools.
