1. We have not had rain in a very long time, and our plants are very sad. But happily, there is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday and Friday!
2. Are you aware of the current statewide outdoor watering restrictions? Even-numbered addresses may water on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Odd-numbered addresses may water on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Drip and soaker-hose irrigation, hand watering (with a container), and watering personal food gardens is alright anytime. The most efficient time to water is after 4pm and before 10am.
3. The Georgia Music Hall of Fame in Macon is set to close June 12. The collections and memorabilia will be moved to the University of Georgia.

4. The VFW and the Department of Labor’s Athens Career Center are hosting a Job Fair, Wednesday from 9am-12pm at the VFW Post on Sunset Dr. The event will feature more than 60 employers, educational institutions and resource agencies.
