Halloween is coming.....scary!

1. Remember over the Athens Clarke County Commission’s discussion of spending $250,000 on art for the ? Tonight at 7 p.m., that issue will likely be discussed at the agenda setting meeting of the Mayor and Commission at City Hall. Come find out what they’re planning.

2. It’s never too early to get your scared on. UGA’s Fright Fest 2011: Halloween Film Festival begins today and runs through Sunday. You can see classic and newer horror and suspense flicks at the Tate Student Center Theatre.  For more information, contact Liz Hansen 706-542-6396. $2 general public, $1 for students.

3. Calling all book lovers! The will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at in Five Points. Thousands of books will be for sale at rock-bottom prices.

4. The dance concert, presented by and Dancestyle Dancewear, is the culmination of a week of events celebrating dance in Athens. You can enjoy performances by the Red Hotz, Studio Dance Academy, Georgia Dance Team, UGA Ballroom Performance Group and more, on Saturday at the beginning at 4pm.
