Athens Youth Symphony Spring Concert Features Harry Potter, Copland, Verdi

The concert will feature young musicians from all over North Georgia on May 18.

The Athens Youth Symphony, under the direction of Karl Schab, will present a Spring Concert on Sunday, May 18 at 4:00 p.m. in Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall of the UGA Performing Arts Center.

The concert will feature young musicians from all over North Georgia and will include The Complete Harry Potter, as well as works by Verdi and Copland. Pianist  Alois Cerbu will be featured in Beethoven’s Allegro con brio from Piano Concerto No. 3 in c minor, Op. 37.
