Barrow Elementary Fifth Graders Create Little Free Libraries

The two little libraries are part of the class's moving on ceremony.

Two more Little Free Libraries have joined all the others found in Athens. These two were created by folks at Home Depot and donated to the Barrow Elementary fifth graders. The students painted the little libraries and gave them to the school and the community as part of their "moving on" ceremony. The libraries received the Eve Carson Learning Service Award for 2013. Many people donated books to the libraries, which will be placed at Lay Park and near the Barrow school.
