Goodwill of North Georgia's Athens Career Center (10 Huntington Road, Athens, Georgia 30606) will be hosing a job fair on September 26 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet a number of local employers including UPS, Debbie Staffing, Perimeter Staffing, Kelly Services, and Etcon. Representatives from these businesses will be accepting applications and résumés. Some of the positions they will be recruiting for include warehouse staff, machine operators, material handlers and students looking to receive their CDL. Interested job seekers should bring several copies of their résumé and dress in business attire.
Those who need assistance with creating or updating their résumé are encouraged to visit the career center prior to this event. Goodwill staff can help you create and format a résumé that will highlight their skills. All Goodwill of North Georgia career centers are open to the public, and the Athens location is open six days a week.
