By Anisa Sullivan Jimenez

The Foundation for Excellence in Public Education in Clarke County has announced the winners of the 2013 Eve Carson Award. The award was established to honor the life of Eve Marie Carson, a 2004 honor graduate of Clarke Central High School, and to promote a humanitarian spirit in the youth of the Clarke County School District.

“Eve represented the very best of us, and it is in that spirit that we honor those Clarke County students that exhibit similar compassion and caring for others,” said Mona Robinson, president of the Foundation for Excellence.
