1. FOUND FOOTAGE FILM FESTIVAL

Where/When: Ciné at 8 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Friday 

Why Go: To see the acclaimed touring showcase of odd and hilarious found videos and hear curators Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher introduce their finds.  

Pricing: $10

2. BARGAINZA

 Where/When: Homewood Hills Shopping Center from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday

Why Go: To find a treasure for a bargain among thousands of items and support the good works of the Junior League of Athens.

Pricing: $5 Friday; $3 Saturday

3. BREASTFEST ATHENS ROCKS

Where/When: Terrapin Beer Company from 12:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday

Why Go: To hear the line-up of great musicians performing to benefit the cause of early detection, awareness and prevention of breast cancer.

Pricing: $30 advance; $35 at the door; free for children

4. “HANDMADE FOR THE HUNGRY” BENEFIT

Where/When: Good Dirt Clay Studio & Gallery from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday

Why Go: To sample and vote on your favorite soup, buy handmade bowls, bid on silent auction pieces, see artist demonstrations and let your kids play in the clay.

Pricing: Free admission; $1 per vote: $20 per bowl purchase

5. 3RD ANNUAL COTTAGE 5K RUN/WALK

Where/When: Sandy Creek Park at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday

Why Go: To run or walk through beautiful Sandy Creek Park to support the Cottage Sexual Assault Center and Children’s Advocacy Center.

Pricing: $20
