Great Escapes - It's Fun to Play

Play games and win prizes this week in Athens.

Let us suppose for a moment that the community of Athens, nestled along a river in the foothills of North Georgia and home to one of the greatest research universities in the US, has an abundance of intellectual folk, bursting at the seems with knowledge of all sorts.

Let us also suppose that these fantastically minded people love to imbibe spirits in the company of friends while comparing the mountain of knowledge contained in their over-sized brains. Ok, let’s be honest, we aren’t supposing, this is reality in our community of impoverished geniuses.

Well, your time has come, my dear, over-educated friends, for you to put that useless information to good use. And have a beer or two while you’re at it, maybe win some cash to help pay off your student loans. Interested yet?

The following is a list of venues where you may partake of trivia and other games. And don’t worry, even if you skipped class and became a professional burrito-wrapper, your degree in cable-watching-couch-potato-maintaining may serve you just as well.
