Great Escapes: Pints and Paints

Paint a picture while drinking a pint at this new art bar on Pulaski.

Athens is full of artists. Do you consider yourself one of the Classic City's talented creative types? The new art bar, Pints and Paints, was founded on the principle that anyone can create something with the right guidance. Owner Abby Denham thinks you'll also have fun in the process.

Located in the Leathers Building on Pulaski Street, Pints and Paints is in a tall open space that makes good use of the natural lighting. It's easy to go online and check the illustrated calendar. Pick an image you'd like to paint and make your reservation. Pints and Paints offers wine from their next-door-neighbo,  , and beer from local favorite Terrapin Brewing, as well as sodas.

Pints and Paints has plans to add diptych paintings to their repertoire which would be especially lovely for couples who want to paint together (but not paint the same image).
