AthFest Educates! Accepting Applications for Grants
The non-profit AthFest wants to share our community's music and musical heritage with children in the community.
AthFest Educates! is now, through August 26, accepting applications for ways to bring Athens’ music and musical heritage to local students. AthFest Educates! is a year-round effort to bring music and arts education to local youth through a variety of programs and initiatives.
Teachers, students, parents, administrators and non-profit groups are all invited to apply for mini-grants to fund purchases such as instruments; grants to fund musicians or artists coming to schools for lunchtime performances; artist-in-residence programs; or grade level performances for the fall semester.

AthFest, Inc. is a locat non-profit dedicated to music and arts education. It produces annual events such as the AthFest Music & Arts Festival, AthFEAST, and AthHalf, the Athens Half Marathon.
