City Wide Gospel Benefit for the Families of SPO Officer Elmer "Buddy" Christian and SPO Officer Tony Howard

To kick-off this year's Hot Corner Celebration and Soul Food Feast, the Hot Corner Association and WXAG will present a benefit gospel concert for the families of SPO Officer Elmer "Buddy" Christian and SPO Officer Tony Howard. This All-Star gospel event will feature the Howard Sisters & the Lighthouse Gospelettes of Athens and will include performances by Genesis of Athens, Heavenly Voices, His Word, Jerry Wilson and Friends, Joseph Lumpkin, Jr., Minister Lawanna Sims, Liturgical Dance, Carol Walker, Determined Spirit, One Accord of Commerce, Pastor Eric Burgess, The Ambassador Chauncer Turner, The Notes of Lexington, Zeke Turner and the All New Gospelettes of Elberton. This event is presented with the support of the Morton Theatre Corporation and the Arts and Nature Programs Division of Athens-Clarke County's Leisure Services Department.
