Target stores nationwide will be hosting free in-store reading events to celebrate the National Education Association's Read Across America program. These reading events will take place at stores on Saturday, Feb. 25 and will include a reading nook inspired by Dr. Seuss/ "The Lorax," a reusable Target bag filled with children's activities and Target team members will read stories to guests.

Target Corp., a supporter of NEA's Read Across America program since 2003, is on track to give $1 billion for education by the end of 2015.

The NEA's Read Across America program calls for every child in every community across the country to celebrate reading on or around March 2, the birthday of children's author Dr. Seuss.
