iFilms: "Waiting for 'Superman'"

"Waiting for 'Superman''" has helped launch a movement to achieve a real and lasting change by telling the compelling stories of five unforgettable students. Emily, a Silicon Valley eighth-grader, is afraid of being labeled unfit for college. Francisco is a Bronx first-grader whose mother will do anything to give him a shot at a better life. Fifth-graders Anthony and Daisy study hard, but they each attend one of the worst-performing schools in their cities. Last but not least, Bianca, a kindergartener in Harlem, is one of 767 children vying for 35 spots at her local, free charter school. She has a 5% chance of getting in. This film runs 111 minutes.
