"In My Place": An Intimate Conversation with Charlayne Hunter-Gault

Charlayne Hunter-Gault, one of  UGA's first African American students, reflects on her time at UGA during its desegregation in 1961 and on her work as an award-winning  journalist. This event is part of the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication's campus-wide read initiative, encouraging the UGA community to read Hunter-Gault's memoir, In My Place. This event is free and open to the public and will be held on the First Floor Studio at the Grady College.
