In this fanciful and compassionate comedy by Tony-Award wining playwright Sarah Ruhl, a 19th century doctor creates a peculiar new electrical contraption to treat patients with "hysteria." As his patients begin to thrive under his care, his wife begins to wonder what's going on in the next room.
