Meet the Bakers: Back in the Day Bakery Cookbook Signing and Author Visit

Residents of Savannah, Georgia have been in on the secret for years – The Back in the Day Bakery is the best little bakery in the South! Cheryl and Griffith Day opened their Savannah bakery in 2002, and to celebrate their 10th anniversary, this charismatic duo debuts their fabulously fun dessert book filled with customers’ favorite recipes and all the charm of their friendly bakery.

THE BACK IN THE DAY BAKERY COOKBOOK (Artisan Books, March 2012) is a down-home bake sale in a book: a collection of more than 100 recipes along with personal stories of food memories with family and friends. The recipes, while firmly rooted in the Southern tradition, transcend the region and find relevance in kitchens nationwide.
