Fall Movie Schedule Set at Tate Student Center Theater Through Sept. 29

The remainder of the schedule will be finalized in September.

The University Union Student Programming Board at the University of Georgia has announced the movie schedule for the Tate Student Center Theater through Sept. 29.

Dates, titles and times are as follows:

  • Thursday, Aug. 22, “South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut” (1999), 8 p.m.
  • Friday-Sunday, Aug. 23-25, “Hangover 3” (2013), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
  • Thursday, Aug. 29, “The Great Gatsby” (2013), 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Aug. 30, “The Great Gatsby” (2012), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 5, “Dr. No” (1962), 8 p.m.
  • Friday and Sunday, Sept. 6 and 8, “Star Trek Into Darkness” (2013), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 12, “Klute” (1971), 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 13, “Nashville” (1975), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 14, “Basquiat” (1996), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 15, “Once Upon a Time in the West” (1969), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 19, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” (1988), 8 p.m.
  • Friday and Sunday, Sept. 20 and 22,  “Iron Man 3” (2013) 3 p.m., 6 p.m., 9 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 26, “+1” (sneak preview) (2013), 8 p.m.
  • Friday and Sunday, Sept. 27 and 29, “This is the End” (2013), 3, 6 and 9 p.m.

Admission is $2, or $1 for students with valid UGACards who pay activity fees on the Athens campus.

Films are chosen by students who serve on the executive board of the cinematic arts division of University Union.
