Get ready to tap your toes to the rhythms of popular American and European roots music of the 1920s and 30s when The Hobohemians play live at the Athens-Clarke County Library on Sunday, October 6, at 3 p.m.

Formed in Athens in 2010 by Antoon Speters, John Amoss, Bill Oglesby, Susan Staley, Dick Daniels and Joe Ellison, The Hobohemians play a lively blend of jazz, blues, and folk music, and their repertoire includes both covers of popular music from the era and original tunes. Their performance is the latest installment of the Live! @ the Library concert series sponsored by the Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library.

The band will perform in the library’s Appleton Auditorium, and the concert is free and open to the public. For more information, please call (706) 613-3650. The Athens-Clarke County Library is located at 2025 Baxter Street, Athens.
