Lucy is the AAHS Adoptable Cat of the Week!

Lucy is a very loving 7 year old cat who enjoys getting lots of attention! She loves to purr and will even give kisses to her favorite people. Lucy was adopted from Oconee County Animal Control when she was just a kitten. Unfortunately, after 6 years, her original owners returned her when they were moving out of state. Lucy was lucky enough to be adopted by a kind owner in February of 2012, but that owner tragically passed away and she was returned to our custody. Lucy wants so badly to find a permanent home where she can be loved forever! She has been in a home with small dogs and other cats before and did fine in that environment. In fact, Blueberry (also for adoption) lived with her in her last home and they would most likely co-exist peacefully in a new home. As you can see from her photos, Lucy is a real ham and will bring joy to any home!

Lucy's Feline-ality is Leader of the Band: I'm a cat who does everything in a big way. I not only like to be in the middle of things - I like to lead the parade. I'm an adventurous cat, but I'll still make plenty of time to show you my affectionate side. I'm the demonstrative type, you might say. Want a cat who's brimming with confidence? That's me.
