Trixie is the AAHS Adoptable Dog of the Week!

Trixie was picked up by animal control, and no one came to claim her. She is such a sweet girl, it's hard to believe she didn't have a home! Trixie is currently about one year old and weighs around 15 pounds. She is great with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. Her main goal in life is to please you. According to her foster parent, she has a goofy side and is coming out of her shell more and more everyday. On day one, we couldn't get Trixie to walk on a leash. Within a few hours, she would walk with little hesitation. She could really use a home that will help her grow.

Trixie has made leaps and bounds. We are so proud of how much she has grown with her foster mom! She is more playful and not as shy as she was when we first got her. We even changed her Canine-ality. Don't miss adopting this sweet, playful girl!

Trixie's Canine-ality is Goofball: I'm a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half-full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with me. I'm a dog on a mission to please you. (Socially motivated)
