Athens Career Center to Help Recruit Seasonal Workers

The Georgia Department of Labor's Athens Career Center will be holding a recruitment day to fill seasonal jobs at Athens businesses on Oct. 24, according to a Georgia Department of Labor press release.
The Career Center, located at 150 Evelyn C. Neely Drive, will be holding the recruitment from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 24. Employers expected to participate include Advantage Staffing, Etcon Staffing, Kohl's, Michael's and Sam's Club.
Those who are interested in seasonal work are encouraged to bring several copies of their resumes and dress ready to be interviewed. Additional information can be acquired by contacting the Career Center at 706 583 2550.
