Incandescent Bulb Phase-out: Know Your Lighting Options with Help from Home Depot

Because of a multi-year phase-out of standard, incandescent light bulbs, the Home Depot on Epps Bridge Parkway will host a series of workshops to help customers understand the change and know their lighting options.

At 10 a.m. every Saturday in January, Athens area residents are invited to learn about the phase out and various light bulb options. The Home Depot will also offer tips for installing specialty light bulbs, fixtures and dimmer switches. Lighting department associates have been trained to answer customers’ questions about the phase out and can help identify the bulbs that best suit customers' needs.
